Course Overview

This course focuses on proper procedures for testing electrical installations before energization. This in-depth course covers all aspects of testing and verifying electrical installations to ensure complete compliance and safety before energization. You will learn: 



  • Basics of Electrical Safety - You will be able to enhance your knowledge of basic electrical safety standards and procedures.
  • Visual Inspection and Fault Identification - Conduct thorough visual examinations of electrical installations to spot defective cabling, terminations, enclosures, or unsafe conditions.
  • Domestic Electrical System Testing - Use meters and devices to validate continuity, resistance, polarity, impedance, and RCD function meets all wiring regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting - Properly log all test results on standard forms and issue formal completion certificates for safe electrical commissioning

    Yes, once properly calibrated. But all necessary latest equipment is available for you to use during practical training.
